Spectroscopy

Spectroscopy is the method used to identify the structure of a compound. However, the three types of spectropmetry that we are going to meet are Mass spectrometry to identify the structure of unkniown organic compounds, Infrared spectrometry which is used to identify the functional groups -OH and >C=O in simple organic compounds such as alcohols or carboxylic acids and Nuclear resonance spectrometry which is a particular tool for finding out the structure of an organic compound.
